I am so proud to not understand why people would ruin an image with something disgusting as a watermark?
Bla bla bla some kind of protection against theft yes-yes but as far as I know...
... you can never ever show the pure and unspoiled image anywhere then.
Not even in the RPG where you want to use it in. Cause oh noes... maybe people will steal it then.
So what? Even if people do. They cannot make money with it anyway. If they try you can proof you are the original owner.
Maaaaaaaaan this "uglyfying" of pictures... >sigh< I just don't understand why.
Why even upload them in the first place then?

Good day,
I am the actual owner of the image. And when I mean owner, I mean I have a binding signed contract with the artist that grants me full rights to the image in question. The contract also stipulates that the artist may use the commissioned image in any manner she chooses as long as my property rights are not challenged. The artist chose to share with you a preview of the artwork in question with a watermark. I am not bothered by this fact, not even for an instant. And you would be surprised at how much artwork gets stolen by the creators of cheap facebook webgames.
If I now may suggest - learn some manners. It is not because you are on the Internet that you are excused for your behavior. You should weight your words carefully, saying stuff like that is bound to hurt the feelings of someone.

You know at least I got SOME explaination now. Never got one before, never had a clue either.
Since I am not creating "cheap Facebook webgames".
Hmh. And I am not interested in money and "careers" and the like either. Guess its just not my world.
Sometimes the urge comes to me and I just "modify" artworks. Since I suck too much to draw them myself.
But even then, when the original Artists do not want that, I delete the upload and so on.
Even when the modified version looks so much "better"
