This was for my 60,000th pageview contest.The rules said..."Whoever gets the 60,000th pageview can pick a classic B-grade horror movie from the 80's for me to draw a pinup of. "
won this time and picked "NIGHT OF THE CREEPS" as the fanart piece.
I knew what I wanted to draw for this one but haven't had the time to actually sit down and do it until today.
This is a really cool, under-rated movie and I had a lot of fun drawing the insane asylum zomie, the worms, the janitor, the faceless zombie and of course Tom Atkins. I took a few liberties with this one and kind of made a scene I wish was in the movie.

Funny story... My brother was a huge fan of "Monster Squad". He use to watch it over and over. Well, the copy was recorded off TV, so it shared a tape with "Lost Boys" and "Night of the Creeps". Every once in awhile, we would forget to stop the tape. At first he was watching Lost boys, in which he became a big fan. This lead to him doing double features. Then I let it go to Creeps. He became a fan of that (my parents had mixed feelings). So, due to neglect my little brother slowly declined into the world of horror.
P.S. He had no problem with "Creeps", but was scared of Audry 2 from "Little Shop of horrors"!! WTF!!!

First I have to say, wow, I wasn't paying attention to any sort of contest but to see Magical Monk won one, I gotta congratulate him. Secound, I gotta say great choice. Third, OMG someone drew a picture of this movie. You know, no one probally remembers this movie, but it's one of the cool ones. Isn't Slither like a bad remake of this or something? Gah, gotta love this movie.

dude i dont know this movie u gotta tell more about it cuz from ur artwork u got really pumped to find out more about it and to go runnin out to see this bad boy! i love how u made it like some one took a pic right at the moment that walkin dead got a pump action shell full of led in the face, or maybe on the neck cuz his skull is still intact!

The movie is a really campy and silly 80's movie but I loved it as a kid. Of course this is a scene I WISH was in the moviem but sadly wasn't. But you should definetley check it out, it is a lot of fun with some cool zombies.

That movie isn't out on DVD yet either which really sucks. You can only find crappy vhs transfers.

I have it on a unoffical region 2 dvd from ebay. The good thing about is that it has two alternate endings, the bad thing is since it's not offical there's no interviews, commentary or other features. It's still an OK disc with decent picture quality.
