Here is the cover for the third issue of the TRANSFORMERS PRIME comic from IDW and HASBRO. This comic series sets up the back story of Arcee and Cliffjumper prior to the 5 part mini-series.I did the line art and then Luke Berliner did an amazing job painting this thing. Luke is one of the background designers on the show, check out his page here on DA. [link]
I am art director/supervising director on the show. The series premier is Friday the 11th on the HUB network.

Did they ever do more Transformers Prime comics? Β Particularly those that followed after the 5 part mini-series? Β I am a hug Prime...and not just in reference to the show, but as in OPTIMUS PRIME.

Well, in any case, the show was ridiculously well done. Β I loved the character dynamics, Peter Cullen returning as Optimus... Β I wish there had been more.

Do you by any chance know where you could read the actual comic, because I've tried looking for it and no-one seems to have any of them, and I know there are four volumes.

WOW youre the art director of the series? well its simply great all the work that youre are doing on TFP , and the dark designs of the decepticons are ones of my favourites of all time

Transformers: Prime has really captured my attention. I'd been trying to like Transformers after seeing the first of the new movies; it had seemed so much like the sort of story that I would enjoy. But attempting to watch the G1 episodes, it fell flat for me; I could enjoy them, sure, often even on a consistent basis... but I could never sit down and WATCH them. I don't know why, but I only ever enjoyed watching them if I was hungering for something light after too much reading/homework/Farscape/more reading, or too little sleep. But Prime is different. It has so much vibrant life and variety. Light enjoyment in the jokes and daily plot-lines, my own sense of humor in the snarking, a thrill in the darker episodes, pure gold in the relationships between characters, a concentrated interest in the vivid animation and art, satisfaction in the storyline that actually builds on itself... I commend everyone working on the show. If you were hoping to bring this franchise into the light of younger generations, you have succeeded.

I'm really impressed with how much hardwork has gone into this show. It's clear when watching the finished project that there are a lot of passionate people on board. A ridiculously glorious season. From this fine artwork to the music everything seems to be the result of care and attention to detail. Season 2 is shaping up to be even more wonderful. By far the most epic Transformers series since G1 gave us the originals.

I feel like I'm the last person on the bandwagon with this show, but I have to say, I'm really, really impressed.
Everything about it - the character design, character development, story, music, voice acting, and of course the direction ^_~ is outstanding. You've taken awesome characters and kicked them up to mind-blowingly awesome!
You and your team have outdone yourselves, and I can't wait for the next season! I can't imagine how it could get any better, but you've got me anxious to find out!
