There's something funny that happened with my mom a long time ago when she was alive. She was visiting Israel on Vacation with my Dad,and they were on a Bus here and there was this German lady who knew no Hebrew or English and she couldn't tell the driver where she wanted to go.So my Mom took a chance and asked her in Yiddish where did she wanna go, and she understood my Mom and told her in German, and my mom told the driver in English and he understood. So then on the whole bus ride my mom and this German Lady were able to chat and understand each other, my mom chatting in Yiddish, and the lady in German. It sounded so funny that they could even though they were different languages

just a few phrases and words and I can count in yiddish. In fact counting in yiddish is almost identical to counting in German

Jaa!! Die lag irgendwie schon ewig im Garten und nie hat die einer weggeräumt, heut früh wär ich da fast draufgetreten, bei näherem hinschaun hab ich dann auch die Maden gesehen und war seeeeehr froh, dass ich beim laufen meist aufn Boden schau xD
Hm also die Maus liegt noch da. Sieht man auf dem Bild nich so, aber die is nur bis zur Hälfte aufgefressen, der Rest is noch Fell und so. Ich wart bis alles weg is.
