Erm, well, I figured this was the easiest way to submit both lettered pages, instead of submitting page 2 by itself for the third time. : DSo, anyway, yes, page 1 and 2, with text, finally. I have a few more half-finished pages lying around my hard drive that may yet see the light of day soon, we'll see.
Since it seems that DA wants to squash this down to 1024 pixels wide, I apologise in advance if it looks like complete crap.Page 3: [link]

wouldn't say it's as horrifyingly wrong as anything I'VE done recently...
anyhoo, my two cents.
the only thing i see that could be remotely "horrifyingly wrong" deals with the statues. i think if we could see them from a slightly more frontal view - like their eyes, their foreheads, that junk - then everything else would fit as an artistic view. kinda like a fish-eye. and may i note the effect would rock the freakin house.
to which i'll digress for my comment now.

thought the perspective was awesome.
thought the concept - though i could swear i've seen similar - makes for good, clean fun. hehe..."clean."
STILL like the character designs. also intrigued on which character gets the yappin part. seems like a lot could do it.

(The one who's yapping, for the record, is actually off-"screen" right now. Out of the people pictured on the second page, five are main characters and three others will have fairly big roles.. the rest are just random character designs lol. The lead character who's talking will show up in a page or two. ; ) )

Ok, you've got me hooked (which isn't easy). Very cool concept, and I like the motley assortment of characters you've drawn here.
The only thing that bugs me is in this sentence:
"Your fellow inmates, most of which are serving a life sentence." where it should be "most of whom"... but I'm just being picky...

It does NOT look like crap at all, I'm not much of a comics fan, but i really like it that in every strip you can see the characters form different angles (I see its not the same characters of course, i really like the one with beard and the horns on the top right).
I'm not so sure the perspective is right on the left page though, i think we should have seen the characters from under because it seems like we are looking up...but then again I'm not good in perspective so i don't really know.[link]

and as said, I'm not so good at perspective either... if you think of the concept of standing in line with the people there and feeling the "power" or the "presence" of the gates and castle, it feels right, so if we are there if we look up, it will look like you draw it (I'm guessing
