Description
Not far from one anotherAnd again locked eyes
But an ignored conquest
Acts as my reminder
Running back through the darkness
After some courage found
I spoke to you
With hidden anger
Thinking you might by chance love me
I hold hopes high
And you in turn gather the embrace
Of someone the opposite
I know her and quite well
Frozen images were kept in place
Burning will set it free
And you find her touch appealing
No pity exists in your eyes
You laugh as I bite my lip
This I am awakened by
Shaken up with a new regret
And gazes disturbingly silent
No more than two tears leak by
I look down at my source of pain
The old wound has been reopened.
