Description I'm laying on the bed with you
My eyes are closed, but yours are open
Something is bothering you, and I wish you would speak
The silence is deafening, and you pull me closer
I'm snuggled beneath your warm arms and my head rests on your chest
This is the happiest I've been
Your heartbeat pounds in a steady rythm, putting me to sleep
The rest of you is vague
What's wrong?
And when I drift from conciousness, I can hear your voice
You whisper softly, not much to me
You believe I am dreaming
What am I to do, when she will not speak?
I draw away, inside
If I speak, I'll lose my voice
If I let you get close, I'll have to run away
You hurt me once
I can't die again..I can't die alone...once was enough
We won't speak
We won't hide
We won't even look at each other
This is all a lesson, and you're getting what you deserve
You're getting what I got
But before any anger submerges
We'll lay here, on the bed
Silent and peaceful
Our hearts beating in unison
Someday, you will love me.
