Welp! I got me a huge sum of money from my PCE assets and getting a Hawk daki is how I'm gonna reward myself. I can't help it; Hawk's freakin' HOT!!!

I spent quality time to make sure this looks as good as it can get. The fist thing I did was draw a lot of male torsos to warm up my anatomy after taking a break from drawing. I then made me a couple of 3D references using Art Pose Pro and XNALara. ArtPose was for the posing with the correct anatomy and XNALara was used to get a headshot of Hawk with the right angle and expression.

For this pic, I used two layers of highlights and shadows. This sort of thing is only done on digital paintings since I felt like that would be too intense for line arts. I'm glad to be proven wrong about that and I think it turned out great. For the BG, I went with a painted one. However, it could not get a second lighting layer due to SAI 2 running out of memory in the program. Given that this had to be printed, the resolution had to be much higher than what I am used to working with and the higher res one couldn't be saved as a png. I'm hoping they will accept tiff files when I order a custom print.
