Description
After forever the adult Vitani design is finally done

In this universe, Vitani would be a partially-maned lioness (It's a real genetic thing that happens to lionesses sometimes bear with me). Since she's only an adolescent, she's only going to sport a little mohawk that stretches to her back (which is hard to see at the angle I drew her in) as well as a tuft of fur on her chest. It'll likely eventually grow fuller when she gets older

You'll also notice her eyes seem to have an odd pigment, or lack thereof. In order to reflect Vitani's blue eyes from the original cartoon, I gave her something called Ocular Albinism, which is a total lack of pigment in the irises (which also causes the pupils to look a little red, in which I have no idea why that happens but it does). I did this because it was the closest thing to a lion having blue eyes besides her probably just being a white lion despite the fact that I've never seen a lion with a case of Ocular Albinism

I've had this headcanon that she had Ocular Albinism ever since I tried to look for a logical explanation as to why her eyes would change so drastically in the haze of the Elephant Graveyard in the cartoon, and I concluded her eyes were very susceptible to reflecting to surroundings so intensely due to albinism (besides, that would also explain that distinct purple shade it turns as a cub since albinistic eyes can look purple)

Fun fact: In early drafts I was gonna have her be a white lioness but I scrapped it because I don't know where she'd get those genes
