I've been doing too much vocabulary work
It's true- there are several words in the English language that don't rhyme with anything: orange and silver are among them.
I did this one quickly- a quick gag

actually, that's just a myth, and I can prove it.
silver rhymes with the world Chilver, and old english word that means "a female lamb"

I can think of five words (there are probably more) in English that have no rhyming counterparts. Of them, three are colors: orange, silver and purple.
Blaze, in this case, you rephrase your writing: "You're wonderful, Silver, just like the summer. Without you around, my life's a bummer."

two words rhyme with purple, hirple: half way between a walk and a crawl. and curple, the hind quarters of a horse, no real word rhymes with orange, there are names though.
