I decided to try my hand at redesigning some characters from the show for my next gen, though I’ll admit I’m not entirely keen on what I’ve done. However, I opted to share it with you all!I must say, I do quite like Cadence and Luna..
Apologies that it took so long, I’ve been figuring out the best way to use Procreate for redesigns; from what I’ve gathered, I am going to struggle using bases, so I may ultimately end up drawing them up myself! Or better yet, figuring out my own personal style, at long last!
Fun fact: I was initially planning on drawing Celestia and Chrysalis, but quit shortly after drawing up their base.
Until I figure out the context of my next gen, I absolutely fear experimenting with new designs!
In this case, I sized up some bases by SelenaEde and proceeded to sketch over them- I was intending on doing cleaner lineart, but I ultimately gave up as I was losing confidence in the designs.
