very authentic. unfortunately, somewhere after the Soul Society Arc the anime lost all of its romantic tension (except Orihime). very disappointing.

Yeah....because it's shonen. Fanboys aren't too interested in romance, just action (I like a little romance and action, LOL!!!!!)
Could be one of the reasons why Kubo gave up romance.
