Actually, I think Bast(et) is the best ancient Egyptian deity since she's not only the Goddess of cats but also of motherhood, housewives, the kitchen and cooking. But to each his/her own.

But Anubis was very funny, and was just cool to be around. Never giving off bad vibes. But Bastet was not always that nice to be around. She got annoyed real easy. And can be rather be demanding at times, like most royalty.
Anubis surprisingly treats everyone the same. Well I suppose that would be expected, you know death and all effecting everyone no matter what.

You should do some art like this of some other Egyptian Gods- like Khnum, the ram-headed god of the Nile; Ra, the Eagle-Headed god of the Sun; Serket- the Anthropomorphic Scorpion-goddess of medicine; or Seth- the Seth-Canine Headed god of mischief and chaos(you'll have to look up pictures of Seth/Seth-Canine, because the species is one that really doesn't exist)
