Hello!

As you might be aware I'm on the Rio wagon now and I don't have any modesty on saying... this one is a personal fave and one of the best pics I've ever done in my whole stinky, miserable, girlfriendless, pathetic and almost useless life... why?

For starters...

Linda's proportions are just fine... maybe her hand is a little off, but meh, we all have problem drawing hands.

The clothing lines are fine, as they would move if they were real.

Her face expression... OMG... I just love it! I was about to leaver with the smile on the sketch, bu decided to throw in the big grin and it looks awesome, plus her big smart owly eyes.

BLU!

It's the first time I draw an animal that's not a mammal since Elementary Scool. As you might notice his feet and claws are changed from the original sketch and that's just for the best also his beak and feathers have recieved a small change of trace wich works just too nice. Plus the cocky attitude wich gives him the fact of being close to his best friend in the world.

As an extra... this is one of the few pics I've done with a person with glasses... and this one works perfectly.

I can tell you can watch Rio and not regrect spending your money on it, it might not have the quality of Pixar or the humor of Dreamworks but it has enough material to stand on its own and not be neglected on the rejected shelf... as a plus for you all english speaking friends... it has Jamie Foxx and Anne Hathaway singing and the music, Mr. John Powell, who brought us the epic score of How To Train Your Dragon last year, now sumberges us in the rythm of Brazil, Rio and the Carnival.

And before you ask, it reached the top 5 of my animated films... Why you might ask?

I love smart nerdy cute short haired girls
I love parrots and macaws
I like blue color
It's a movie about a blue macaw with a owner who is a smart nerdy cute short haired girl... you can do the math.
