Gmork terrifies me to this day ever since I first saw him; quite a few of my nightmares featured wolves with his appearance trying to get me. Which I donβt understand as wolves donβt live in my area, but coyotes are around.

Ever read the book by Michael Ende?Β The nothing is actually born out of the apathy of humans.Β And it's not a storm but it looks like what a blind person would see that's creeping along the land.Β When a fantastican leaps into the nothing they become lies in the human world.Β It depends on the fantastican on what kind of lies they become.Β And that's why in the book fantasticans can't go to the human world.

Yeah I read it, but at the time this image was created I didn't have the book to hand and was unaware of the connection between the nothing and the human world and lies, or how different this scene was in that Gmork was chained up and the place he was in was like a horror Halloween type of land. I realize that now that the movie left out a lot of stuff due to budget and effects at the time, but this is one movie I would like to see a remark of which is more truer to Michael Ende's book.Β

yes i have the unicorn theme and loved by the sun both songs. and advice on drawing horses i dont draw them i just ride them i have been an equesrtian for over 10 years.

Nifty use of colors to create an atmosphere, though the blue at the left kinda feels disruptive of the overall shadowy mood.
Seriously, if you loved the movie, please read the book someday, it goes deeper.
