A patient and polite lady, when meeting new people Vero will tend to listen rather than talk and is used to greeting and playing nice with fellow dogs but finds it hard to make deeper friendships and connections. However when she does she cherishes them and tends to be more open and playful when a friend or two is around.

Grateful to have been taken in by her family, Vero in turn watches over the farm and the few sheep her family owns. Typically she hangs around where they graze, though sometimes she can be seen doing rounds around their extensive pen. As well as being keeper of her family's land, Vero is fiercely protective of Milo, her owner's daughter. Because of this Vero doesn't leave their land frequently and tends to shadow Milo if a dog or person she hasn't seen around before is in the area. When home Vero can be found trying to fit in Milo's lap while she gets her fur braided.

*Vero has a complex and is ashamed of her ears, she tends to pull them back if she feels someone is staring or noticing them.
*Vero also has a thing about collars and things around her neck so the family ties a little bell around her left foot when she out of the house .

Pre-Group History: Born in the country to less than responsible breeder, Vero had her ears cropped at an early age because the breeder (ignorant to the breed, and new to breeding) believed her ears would be permanently drooped, and therefore would be undesirable in terms of being adopted. Unfortunately potential adopters believed Vero would have impaired hearing and therefore be unable to protect livestock properly. Eventually she was placed on a chain and left with a small portion of food and water.

After finishing off the provisions left to her Vero desperately attempted to free herself, causing the collar that held her to tighten and cut into her neck. Luckily her current owners happened by and spotted her. Cutting Vero free, they rushed her to a vet where she was easily taken care of, and when she was able, the family took her home .
