It was better to run in pairs, that much the courser understood well. But that didn’t stop her from rising before the dawn and watching the change of day while following a fresh track. It was a reset, a calming exercise that set the precedent for the rest of her day. As such she found it more settling to venture out on a hunt on her own from time to time, even as the colder season made success more difficult. It was a welcome challenge for Hera as she matched tracks with scents and followed diligently; softly crunching through the blanket of snow as she went. I feel like Hera hasn’t gotten her own solo piece in a while so I wanted to feature her post-war living a much calmer life now haha

Also trying to get back into cell shading a bit more, felt pretty successful this time around!Art & Hera (c) me
