Personality: Zahra is a strong female, both physically, and mentally. She is also highly spiritual. Though she is very tough, she is kind as well, often putting others ahead of herself. Though at first, her size may be a bit startling, she is actually quite submissive to those in higher ranks, and is very respectful. She may seem intimidating at first, but in truth, Zahra is but a gentle, motherly soul. She is very hardy, and tends to only eat as much as other lions, though her large frame may seem like it needs more nurishment than most. She is a powerful hunter and fighter, but doesn't have the heart of a warrior, disliking quarrels and often trying to settle feuds between others. She is very calm, though can be protective of those she loves.

Backround Story:
Her mother was a lioness who had been tamed by a tribe that used to live nearby to the Life Tree. She fell in love with wind spirit in the form of a large, white lion, similar in looks to Zahra herself. She was raised among the children of the tribe, and had to be taught by her mother to be calm and gentle around them. The young cub had a special fondness for Neema, the chief's daughter. Many days they played, and, as they grew older, hunted together. The two had a strong bond, and as a mark of their friendship, the girl tied beads in a lock of Zahra's fur. Sadly, their friendship did not last long after Zahra became an adult. The tribe was soon ambushed by a neighboring one. Zahra was the only survivor, and as she searched for others, she came upon Neema, who was mortally wounded. "Never forget me," she said in her tongue, which Zahra did not fully understand, but managed to know what she meant. With the last of her energy, the princess took her bracelet from her wrist and slid it on to the lioness' tail. Then, she slowly slipped away into the unknown of death. Stricken with grief, Zahra traveled listlessly, eventually collapsing from exhaustion, where she was found by a Life Tree scout. There, she restarted her life, hoping to one day forget her unfortunate past.
