I can't get over his face. The shading especially is really subtle and just so good! He looks as if he's either reminiscing over how things used to be (with Charles) or he's in the middle of things (with Charles) and is fighting one of his many internal battles trying to convince himself not to do what he wants to do (and what he knows Charles wouldn't approve of). Because as much as he wants to make Charles happy, this is something that he's been building up toward for most of his life. It's who he is now, and he knows he can't fight it, not really.
Or, you know, he could just be watching Charles sleep.
