Haru is a Bengal Tiger cub that escapes from a zoo and after a long journey finds himself in Leo's(or Kimba) Jungle. He pushes his way into Rune and Rukio's lives and bullies other animals to get what he wants. He uses his aggression to hide his hurt feelings of leaving his family behind.
