Just a picture of SilverWing. Nothing special... just flat colored cause I was feeling lazy. I did try to take more time inking, but I don't know if anyone can even tell any difference cause I was dumb and inked all the different line lengths before I colored, then was too lazy to go over it all when I reinked so.First colored picture of SW with her new little marking on her nose... the darker spot with the pink around it. What do ya'll think? Does it look ok or no? I'd like opinions if you don't mind.. it'll help me determine whether I keep it or not. I was inspired to put it there cause that's how my sheltie Smokey's nose is so...
This is me not pleased with the way I look. I feel so stupid sometimes.

I love the detail and the harsh but melancholy feeling you portray here. I can totally relate to how you feel, and I know it must be traumatic at times. Still, you are a wonderful artist and your style is both vivd and captivating. Keep drawing! I love your work!

I like this one, the flat colouring works well, its nice and easy on the eyes. IMO the black marking around the nose isn't too good - it makes the face unecesarily detailed, and distracts the viewers eye - taking attention away from the facial expression. It looks okay on this picture, but I think it would look better without the dark marking - and on more detailed images, with detailed shadings, could cause unecessary difficulties with the colouring and such, know what I mean?

I have always adored how much emotion you put into your art, but i have to say that i think you draw so much better now then you used to. You've come a long way, and it shows. There's so much 3D to your lines and depth and anatomy.
And it all still feels so much like you.

You've probably already got enough opinions on it by now but I really love the new marking on her (your) nose. It never used to be the case, but nowadays there seem to be more and more anthro artists popping up, and it's nice to be able to distinguish your fursona (or just characters) in some unique way. I think the spot on the nose sets her a part from the pack (that's Steve being lame and punny btw) a bit. Not to say that the point of having characters is so that they're all completely original in every way (because that's silly and selfish and unrealistic), but just as a cute little extra thing that means something to you, you know what I mean? It's a detail, since your dog has a similar marking, that has personal significance.
But anyway, I've gone on too long about that and it doesn't even have much to do with the picture.
I would have to agree with most people that the flat colouring actually looks very nice. Her legs look a bit short to me, but other than the the anatomy was very well done (especially on her chest area). I really like her tail as well (and her hair- it's so long and dramatic and beautiful!).
The expression is very good and suits the lyrics nicely. She looks very lost and a little puzzled, as though she's till trying to figure out a lot of things about herself and her life and doesn't quite know which way to turn. The pain is evident, but I tehre also seems to be a little hope in the drawing. I don't know if any of that makes sense at all, but it's what I feel when looking at the piece.
Very pretty and emotional.

As for the spot, I think it looks good! My doggie has a dark spot above his nose as well..

It's silly, but I adore her ears in this picture. I also love the hair. And the new marking on the nose is adorable. Before I even read the description, I was thinking "Something's different." It's more distinguished, less pure and perfect and more natural. And I love the inking, too. Your inking style just keeps getting cleaner and more certain. It looks wonderful.
You know, however you feel, you're still wonderful and beautiful and there are people out here perfectly willing to remind you every time.

I love the flat colouring i think it adds more to this picture. I really like the emotions I can feel from every one of your pictures, you express yourself so strongly through art that it is just stunning and adds so much to each peice. I hope you feel better soon. I came upon a printed off version of your ref when i was cleaning my room and I'm going to draw you a picture it will be put up later when I get a hold of my scanner once again!

Opinion? Yes, I like it. It's different and distinguishing...and damn cute. :3 The pink around makes it seem like the fur is thinner and softer, like velvet.

I still love that spot on your nose. It makes you even more adorable than ever. Even within all the thoughts you think of yourself, whether it be the massive headaches you get, certain physical features etc. I know I can look pass that and find you positively beautiful.
