After he had lost track of Clint and Aspen due to a blizzard, wolves, and a fall from the saddle, Eli eventually managed to call his horses to him, having found that they had not gone too far and instead had found shelter from the blizzard nearby. He tended to the bite on his arm and tried to clean the blood off his jacket as best he could before getting it fully treated at the next checkpoint. Having found it wasn’t too severe, he was able to continue the race with his team after a brief rest.

Upon reaching the final leg of the race, the team races down the glaciers of Kenai Fjords National Park towards the finish line, after a long journey.
