Description
This is Morose at different ages in to versions. In the first she was born with a light rose mane wich grew darker during time, the second version shows her with very lightblue-white mane as natural color wich she dyed later. I haven't decided yet with wich version I'll go, so I show both. Wich version do you like better?

newborn
She was born as the earthpony daughter of a rich unicorn-family in high soceity. Actually they are the descandants of a great royal family of old age and even through they don't rule their kingdom anymore, they have a great political influence and still call themselves Princes and Princesses. She was presentet as Princess Rozalia Kaimana, what could be translated to Rose Diamond. She was born with dark blue fur and a little longer ears than normal, who tended to dangle down. She has a big brother, an unicorn prince who's the heir of the family.
She was very silent and only cried when it was really neccessary.

Even before she was able to walk she wore a tiny dress, little golden shoes and a big golden tiara. Her parents taught her to sit regal and made her short mane look nice, she didn't understood what was going on yet, she just sat silently and watched. She didn't saw much but the old castle she lived in.

young filly
Princess Rozalia Kaimana became a wonderful little filly, curious and shy at the same time. Her mane grew longer and her fur got lighter, she was always perfectly dressed. Her parents were very strict, she had to behave for she was a princess. She was told, what people expect her to be, ho her life as planned. She didn't saw many other fillies, but fortunatly another rich family had a filly about her age, with wich she befriended. But she noticed everypony around was an unicorn and could do magic, only she wasn't able to. Even her energetic filly-friend was gifted in fire magic. She tried to do magic, but she couldn't. After she couldn't create fire like her friend, she tried to bend the fire in the fireplace. After she burned her hooves, she gave up trying to become a unicorn. Her favourite place was the swing, she sat on theswing without swinging, just watching.

She learned to act like a princess and hide her feelings. She knew, she had to be perfect. She knew, she wasn't allow to show rage, anger or other low emotions. She kne, she had to obey her parents. She knew, that there would be no love in her life. Others would only see her as princess with much money. She knew, her brother was the heir. She knew, she would marry some rich stallion for political reasons. She knew, she was better than the scum living in the cities. She knew, her whole life was already planned. And she did, what she was told to. She didn't dare to question her parents. She was the proud princess.

She grew up, was almost an beautiful young mare, she wasn't an adult yet, but no longer a child. Her destiny came closer, but she felt empty. While her friend was still a happy young pony, Rozalia grew tired of having to be the perfect princess. She didn't show her feelings, was the loyal daughter, but she wished she could just go. At this age she liked the night and loved to watch the moon. Even her clothes represented the moon she adored.

Seeing his sister feeling caged, Rozalia Kaimanas big brother convinced their parents to let her live with her friend, before she gets married to some unknown stallion. Having another mare about her age as companion would help her becoming a better princess, he argued. So she lived in the villa of her friends family, out of her parents reach. She changed drastically. She called herself Kai (but her brother and her friend still called her Rose) and went out for having fun. She just wanted to see, how people would treat her, if they don't know she's a princess. She didn't take care for her mane and strayed, got in touch with the lowlifes of society. Normal residents doesn't even know these ponies exist, the homeless, bitless, the fallen, the forgotten, the gangs. She still had her slightly arrogant princess manner, but found true companionship in one young, growth-restricted stallion named Ben (?) who worked in the not always legal working system of the underground as gifted technician. As Kai got deeper into this and found herself confronted with the bloody reality of the shadowside of the society, she started to rethink her life.

Now knowing both sides - princess and lowlife - Kai decided to leave her privileged life behind. At least until her family would wed her to some fancy stallion she wanted to live a simple life. She left the villa of her friend and moved into the next city. Her friend covered up for her and pretended she would still live like her parents wanted. She took the code name she got in the underground society as her main name and called herself Morose. She started to work like Ben, but took only work that helped the innocent and never worked for corrupted people. Neither she would work against her own family's or her friend's business. She teamed up with Ben and found some other ponies, who became close friends. Ben became like a little brother to her and as soon as they got enough money, they rented a simple flat to live in. Soon after she founded her own café named Sweet Pleasure. Now she works part time with the other lowlifes, part time at maid in Sweet Pleasure. Her behavior is less arrogant, but she still doesn't show much feelings and is sometimes a little bit too elegant. She helps everypony who needs her help, but is sarcastic and likes to confuse everypony. She doesn't like unicorns and does her best to let nopony too close to her, for it would be dangerous if somepony found her secrets out. But still she enjoys being a lowlife and hopes the day she has to return home stays far in the future.
