Description
I'm not a fan of colouring but I love pens to death, so I tried to find a compromise: coloured Bics and Staedtlers. And I lost my head about them. This is my first attempt and I find it... uh... a total mess? I still like it though. I mean, it's the first time I've drawn this way, I have to practice. D: (There is also a bit of brush on it, I couldn't resist.)It's also been more than one year without scanning. Those were the good times, even if I hated my scanner, but at least I could use it *sighs* Photos are even worse when it comes to detailed drawings like this.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it!
The right horn looks terribly messy to me. But it was supposed to be a kind of "experimental sketch"( ) and there's always that moment when the lazyness defeats me - that's how I end up hating myself looking at the "finished" drawing xD
I love how the paw turned out, instead. So I'm truly happy that you like it too!

You are very welcome!!
I think I can relate X.X!! It truly is a test of patience what we do xD Sometimes it doesn't reach, but that's okay. We come out of every drawing more inured to tackle the next challenge of patience.
Sketchiness can be a good thing! Overly rendering stuff can end up looking bland in many situations, so it is good to know how to leave things sketchy aswell :'D

I love leaving things sketchy in fact xD
Plus, I often don't erase the sketches under the ink lines because I think they make the drawings look more "alive", although not everyone likes it as I do. Ink can look terribly static if you don't know how to handle it.
Yes, patience, patience, patience x.x

That's beautiful, I love the colors. Also I like that the posture and expression aren't particularly aggressive; it almost looks like a curious gesture.

Thank you very much!
Yes, I love drawing creatures showing off phlegmatic expressions, I think it makes them look a little bit more... "believable"? At least that's in my intentions.

Had to break out the dictionary for that one, haha. Apparently my creatures tend toward the 'fantastical', but I like this one. It gives a benign, good-natured impression.

Oh, wow xD
The title "Toxic" was mainly due to the color palette I chose, in fact. Didn't mean to make the viewer think about certain death. xD

Oh, naw I was referring to your comment about 'phlegmatic'. Although I could've asked about the title; the critter looks very healthy and in good spirits rather than sickly.

I had understood hahahahah
I wrote "wow" about "phlegmatic" because I couldn't believe that although not being an English motherlanguage I had forced someone to "break out the dictionary" and search for an English word that I actually knew xDD
But no problem, that's my fault! Too shy even while commenting xDD
