This is the baby African Elephant at the Indianapolis Zoo, a 254-pound, 14-day-old little girl. This was the day of her public debut; at first she was right with her mother but then started to venture forth She’s an adventurous little tyke, though still wobbly and unsure of what to do with all her appendages. Here she started flapping her ears, which of course she has yet to grow into. Very cute to watch!
