Description I really enjoyed the zebras when I was on safari; they are so photogenic! Only problem was, they always seemed to turn their backs, or rather their backsides, to me. With this one, though, I thought it gave me a very nice profile, even if it was butt-first. I actually really like the symmetry of the striping on this zebra’s hindquarters.

Well it's a very striking pose! And this is quite a svelte zebra ... ours over here are a bit wider round the back. Very interesting patterns around the rump and tail!

Thanks; glad you like the pose! I took lots of shots of this one before getting the pose I liked. Yes, it's definitely skinnier than some others I saw; at first, I thought many of the zebras were pregnant, they were so round, but my guide explained they often take in air and look bloated. Still, this one looked pretty thin!
