It wasn't really that hard. MagicMenu to hide the menubar, dock set to autohide and the bar at the bottom is done using Bowtie

i suppose i could do it with geektool
and i didnt know there was a way to hide the taskbar

Well. I must admit, the bowlet is very WIP and isn't really that functional. It only worked when I tried opening Finder and System Preferences. But I don't think you can do it with geektool? Geektool is just a tool for showing information on the desktop, right?

It was because of luck I found MagicMenu. I was annoyed that the menubar took up so much space and looked ugly, so I googled for a solution. Couldn't find one, but then I stumbled across MagicMenu

i've never heard of magic menu before, ill look at it. and i didnt know bowtie could do more then itunes now-playing
geektool runs terminal commands on the desktop, im not sure if there is a way or not it might be possible

you should take a look at magicmenu [link]

I used a program called More Internet to add the different programs as helpers protocol so they could be opened by ie. opening a webpage called Finder://
It isn't working that good tho.
Geektool runs terminal commands yes, but I don't think it's possible to use it to open apps. Let me know if you can get it to work
