Still plucking away at this project in the background. After discussing the new pirate characters' designs with someone, I ended up wanting to give them a shot. Opal's the only one whose original design I like, so she was first.I still follow my rule of making all aquatic mobian characters wear swimsuits. That includes ALL the pirates. I got PLANS for the captian, hoo boy. You think he can get out of it by wearing a coat, you'd be WRONG.
Was feeling some Wakfu style meaty thighs with Opal for some reason. I've drawn her a few times since this, and they've only gotten meatier. LEGS
(If the Chaotix are currently pretending to be pirates, do I need to draw them in swimsuits too???)

Glad to some more of this project! Opal was an instant favourite of mine, so it's great that she's the first one you've designed and I'd love to see any of the other drawings you've done of her if you post them. Also excited for the captain in a swimsuit. 8)

The most standout design to come from the rather lackluster batch of Pirates this time around. Β I look to forward to seeing One Piece Coat/Swimsuit Hybrid you've got in store for that Otter aswell.
Eeuughh this is last thing I want to bring up, but I'm instinctively reminded of those damn Reggae Jellyfish from Sharktale. Β Jellyfish Tentacles and Dreadlocks are just natural mirrors of eachother.
