I keep forgetting my time zones. I should know you are 12 off from where I live. My friend goes to Taiwan to install Laser we make. We have only been doing this for over 15 years you would think I'd remember. He has got me some cool stuff I hang on the door knob and a little Buddha guard my pantry closet. The dragon is really cool and I have a Buddha Dog in glass and a set of the replication of the Dogs that guarded the Temples(?) in the Year of The Dog.
I was born in the year of the rat (metal) if that means anything to you. Obviously I know what Continent you live on, I do not know how much of this heritage is shared throughout the lands. It like saying everyone in America is the same and you know I do not feel that way, but sometimes I just can't find the right words.
Considering how much we make each other laugh I think I am doing okay so far.

I just meant that he has given me so many of these cool things that I had to start putting them in my kitchen. So I have a Buddha in my kitchen because there are more place to hang my surprises. I will never say no to a gift or surprise, I love surprises but I am glad I am born on Christmas so no one could throw me a Surprise Party there is too much other stuff going on.
I know Indonesia is not China but I am Ignorant about where you live and should really read something about where you live.
I am just glad you were able to get in touch with me. I thought it might be school or just every day life, but I was going to be sending you a note, that is when I found out dA has not been working so I could not even see others works Favorites came up blank. So you did not miss much theses last few days.

yeah, indeed Indonesia's not China, but we celebrate Chinese New Year as a national day here as well, since there're quite a lot of descendants of Chinese immigrants here (there're many Chinese immigrants that move to Indonesia during the second world war long ago), n i'm one of that descendants
nevertheless i'm totally proud to say that i'm an Indonesian
hahaha, nope, i got my long holiday now since 2 weeks ago, it's just my sucks internet connection that hv been dead since almost 3 weeks ago, aww man

If there is one thing I am going to make sure of is you are going to get a deviant ART T-Shirt that is what started us talking more often, when I donated those points. So my goal for the new year is too scope out dA New Stock and make sure you get one of their new ones right away. You know if you were not extra small it would be easier to shop for you.
Hope your Vacation is good and I will try to brush up more on Indonesia. I am ignorant on that part of the world, though I did know it was not the same as China, so I get a point for that. Buddha Soup for Christmas? I have a feeling a lot of people would not find that as funny as we do and that is one of the things I like about you Cecile. You do have a good sense of humour.

yeah, maybe most of foreigner just know Bali as an international tourist spot here XD
also, chinese descendants here's a minorities rather than malay race (indigenous), but we obtain sufficient tolerance of indigenous to carry our ancestral culture, just like allowed to celebrate chinese new year XD, even though this culture is gradually becoming obsolete over time

Yes I knew about Bali but you are more interesting than that so I did look some stuff up and found out about some you let the Chinese stay and they more or less can say they are from Indonesia. I bookmarked a couple of sights so when I have a minute I might be able to read about your homeland.
My ancestors came over from Ireland and til the day my dad died still did not like the English for invading Ireland. He thought he was more Irish than my Aunt who came from Ireland. Every time I would bring home some new Irish Music dad would copy it and keep the real one for himself, he was afraid I might loose it. Dad died when CD's were just becoming popular.
I am going to put my Buddha's in a pot of water and take a picture of it for you one of these days. You titled it already Buddha Soup.
