TRAVEL IN STYLE: Part 3 of 10NOTE: Just in case there was any confusion, this is NOT a time-travel arc. Seth is in the same place and time, just viewing it in different styles.
COMMENTARY: This particular art style is the one I used for the first 62 comics of the rebooted SC series. When I rebooted the series, I was aiming for a more 3D look to the comic but after a while I came across two problems. 1) It looked just a little to moody and serious for the tone of the series and 2) The shading was taking up more time than I thought a daily-updated comic should take.

Interesting, I dig the shading, though I agree, as cool as the darker tones do look, they don't quite fit with the comic vibe.

I think warmer colors make for a more light-hearted story
(although I'm beginning to wonder about my own tactics because the next story arc "Now and Then" isn't really very light-hearted, lol)

you could always play with lighting instead of changing the entire feel of the color scheme
