Nice little history lesson there. I'm a much more recent reader but I respect that even though your art is 'simple', you still strive to evolve and improve the appearance of your work. You also understand that comics are not pictures with words or prose supported by illustration, but a unique marriage of the two as a storytelling medium, and you do everything for a reason.
And you've got great humor too.
