A little background information:
Growing up in a small family of pottery makers, a profession going on for four generations, as the oldest is was natural for Marcella to pick up the mantle and hone the skills and learn the special techniques passed down to her. Allowing her other siblings to pursue their own dreams or help out in the family shop of their own choice. She enjoyed the craft and being a natural saleswoman it wasn't hard for her to pick it up. Wanting to improve on her skills she sought a mage trainer with her earnings in her younger years to help improve her Earth magic; and to help make her crafting better. She would use her charm, charisma, and magical talents to draw in more customers and craft special requested items to the customers choosing or selling the more antique and older potteries made by past generations. She still works in that shop today and occasionally will take a cart to the busier parts of town .
