Personality
Crest, who has no objections with being called anything else ( as long as it's not Mr.Vigneron, or he'll burn you down with a dreadfully creepy doll smile ), appears ( and is typically ) very joyful; he tends not to show his other feelings, although they may appear rather obvious with his actions rather than with his face.

In reality, he has a dual personality, both in which are aware of each other, yet one cannot control the other.

As The Black Assassin
Self-named, Crest parodied his father's title, the 'White Assassin' to mock the High Devil, for white signified loyalty to heirachy ( aka the High Devil and his nobles ). He mainly only targets the heirachy, and usually blunty walks in through the front door, killing everyone, unless they are children not yet 'corrupted'. Servants and butlers are let free if they are not killed trying to protect their master, or unless they wish to die along with their master. To mark his place, he cuts his own finger, and draws a straight, horizontal line across the front door. From time to time, he will collect antiques and jewelry from them, pawning them and using the money for a Robin Hood-like duty, or keeping them with him as blackmail, bribing, etc.

History
Born November 9th to Delamias ( French ), and Renee Prado ( 3/4s Portuguese and 1/4 English ) Vigneron, Telemann L.N was a little, slightly underweight, white haired child. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Renee's life was lost shortly after going through labor.

For much of his early youth ( 0- 6 yrs. old ), Telemann lived in Oleiros, Castelo Branco, Portugal, where his mother had resided for most of her life. He was a native Portuguese speaker, and did not start studying the English language until he was about six. His father became his single guardian, introducing him to the world, and the splendors of it. Growing up, Telemann was an exceedingly excited child who had a deep interest and admiration for automobiles; in his hands would always be a pully truck or car of some sort. He grew deeply attached to his father, often imitating him just for the heck of it, hoping to become a figure similar to him someday.

His abnormal status as a Corinthianth ( or Black ) Demon was revealed to him at an early age. When he was two, his father showed him his wings, and advised him to never touch them, for they were not normal wings, and could grow worn out easily from constant touching. Telemann accepted everything he was told, but was still ignorant on the situation his father was in with the man who ran Hell, for the most part; the High Devil.

His father was positioned in the role of the Heirachy Assassin, or as most knew him by, the White Assassin. To signify his loyalty to the High Devil, he was to tie something, usually a uniformed, white eyepatch of some sort around his left eye. As a child, Telemann would copy him, but often tie it around his right eye instead, mistaking his left for his right, and vice versa.
Hidden to his world, Telemann never knew that in the role of the White Assassin, it was forbidden to be a single wanderer with such a position at hold. His father, Delamias, argued that he had already married previously, and had not broken up with her for any reasons, despite death. He was still, in the end, forced to wed to one of the High Devil's play girls, a tall, big-bosomed lady who referred to herself as Zora, though her true name was Zina Lorraine. She was secretly already having quite the affair with the High Devil, but took the spot anyway, hoping it would boost up her name in society, making herself more acceptable for being who she already was. In simple words, a prostitute.

Telemann did not mind Zora in the family at first. In fact, he was quite interested in how she executed daily tasks, and liked tagging along to observe her moves and words. Unknown to his mind at the time, most of the things she said were vulgar and unfit for the likes of him. He started growing distant from her as arguments and verbal fights started breaking out between his father and step-mother, gradually growing into a daily thing. At that point, he was afraid to point fingers when she questioned him, and would hurry out of the way to busy himself so she would not have the chance to speak with him.

Two years in with the forced marriage, Delamias stormed into the High Devil's 'office', and declared that he divorce her no matter what. Enraged by his declaration, the High Devil told him that he had sacrificed a lady of his choice to him so he could continue on with his position, yet he would not accept such a gift, making him an unworthy soul in existance. In attempt to save his own and Telemann's life, Delamias ran for it and along the way, was able to snatch up a necklace with a deep black, light-weight metal gothic-like cross hanging from it. He tied it around Telemann's neck as he reached him, telling him that no matter how much it stung now, it would save him a lifetime. Confused by his father's words, all Telemann could do was ask many unanswered questions as he was held by him.

Delamias was murdered by multiple weapon shots when the High Devil was able to catch up with him. He was 28. Telemann was thus left orphaned at nine, saved by the cross that had repelled the High Devil from touching him, and prepetually grew more and more afraid to approach his 'step-mother'. It was only then that he found out that his 'mother' had been cheating on his father the entire time, and had already had a son with the High Devil. With the lack of love, or at least the sense of it, Telemann grew apart from the world he had previously thought he had known, pondering over whether or not he would wake up at all the next day, and wondered whether if not waking up would be a bad thing.

Zora was left alone by the High Devil when Telemann was 10 1/2. She vowed eternal hate and revenge on him, taking away their son whilst dragging little Telemann along with her. They moved into a small hide-away basement in Berlin, Germany of the human world, where Telemann became outcasted from the true world, glancing at the normal kids, too scared to approach them, yet feeling lonely that they never noticed him. His single solace in life became the world of math, in which he pursued much of his time in. Zora became a heroin addict, and began to abusing her biological son, Tristen, with whatever she could grasp at the moment. At first, Telemann was left out of this situation, but because he stood up for child abuse once, he turned himself into a victim, and slowly drew himself closer and closer to his 'step-brother'.

When Telemann turned 13, his grandfather finally tracked him down, and ran off with him to Hell. Although he was grateful for his grandfather's help of escaping, he was awfully worried about Tristen, and decided to go back. He was 14 when he went back; still abnormally short, he stood at a mere 147 cm ( 4'8" ).

Again turning to math and now little Tristen as his place of paradise, his life was also, again, filled with abusive actions. At 15, he started to follow in his father's footsteps, and would talk back to his mother when he felt injustice among her reasoning. It was around that time he started to grow at a rather speedy pace, and was already 5'10" by the time he was 16. It was also around that time he began to push himself physically, training himself for, then, god knew what. Agreeing to let him take math in as his life study, his grandfather allowed him to lie about his age as a 24 year old who wanted to earn his doctorate in math. After passing the required tests for his bachelor's and master's, Telemann spent most of his time dedicated to work, both school-wise, and labor-wise to support himself.

At 18, he left home, wandering off back into Hell, and met Suli, a young devil that had just arrived to wherever she was at. They quickly bonded, and ended up very close, to the point of lovers. They spent a few more months in self-denial before finally agreeing to start dating, and for that while, he was convinced that there would be nothing better than this. In fact, he proposed to her with no outer interruptions, and she was not at all reluctant to agree.

However, again fooled by his beliefs, he found out Suli was a player, and had been seeing another man at the same time. He was struck by the fact that his life was surrounded by women who could not love just one person genuinely, and was left heartbroken, slaughtering his then love rival with a knife, stabbing him over and over repeatedly. He realized what he had done at the end, and hurriedly raced away, subconciously running for Tristen, only to be greeted by an innocent smile that Tristen gave him as the door yanked open. Determined to keep him safe from the world, Telemann started to grow even more over-protective than he had already been towards him. The overflowing amount of over-protection amounted to only become overflowing hate on Tristen's side, blaming him for limiting the world and piling on naive thoughts into his brain. Not daring to talk back, hoping that Tristen himself would someday understand his reasoning, Telemann left without much to say, other than a few typical goodbyes, before leaving him to be.

Hurt , distressed, and lonely, Telemann fell into a pit of depression, covering up his past with loose patches, one by one, hoping that it would not exist in anyone's minds anymore, including his own. He became almost insane, and developed a second personality that was always happy and childish, what he would've been if depression had not hit him so hard. He changed his name to Crest, filing his real name into the files rather than what he would actually go by. His choice of the name came from the definition of the word crest- a symbol of a family. He figured that since most of his direct family had already perished from his life, he could represent them and perhaps make them proud of who he was, no matter how he came out, being their 'Crest'.

As his turn in life became deeper and deeper, Crest commenced an era of creating a life made of lies, including his age, birthday, past, family, and personality. While the lies stacked atop one another, his lingering desire to kill or see bloodshed again grew alongside the stack. At first, he was satisfied with the blood of poultry and things of that kind. Nevertheless, it was not too long before he longed for the blood of a person, which started his career as, " The Black Assassin", a name opposite to his father's. He was notoriously known for murdering entire families of nobles that he considered corrupted, but was also known for leaving most children alone, unless they too, in his eyes, had already been corrupted like their parents. People only knew him by the sign of a black cloth wrapped around his head, covering his right eye, and the arrow marking that he had been born with pointing down on his right cheek.

During a murder case, his wings ( which were already rather worn out way too much for their own good at the time ) were scalded by fire. In the end, they did not burn away any, but became very sensitive to any touch ( any simple finger on his wings may sting a hell of a lot after a long flight ).

When he turned 20, he also became a host demon, supporting human lives with his own, though they would have to agree upon turning into a demon as well. His first human was a man by the name Conrad Mayhalter, who sullenly came up to him, asking him if he would kill him in exchange for the loan sharks following his family. Unwillingly agreeing, Crest figured that he would allow Conrad to do something, and gave him various chores around the house. To his surprise, Conrad was enjoying the work he was given, and was dubbed Thanatos, or maid-boy, for his consistent amount of work done even if it was no neccessary. His next and last 'client' was a 16 year old teenager who called himself Darcy, but was formally born as Fitzwilliam Knight. He had been born deaf, and was originally only gifted a charmed, dangling cross earring by another host demon then that restored his hearing. In exchange for his hearing back ( which only works if the earring is worn ), Will agreed to become a demon, and although unusually glum and monotone, did not mind being there at all. The only thing he seemed to complain about was the odd marking on his face that would appear everytime his demon form was in session. Around the same time, Crest adopted five little demon sprites into the household, two that were named Idi and Otty ( Idiot/ Idiotty ), and the three smaller ones that called themselves Acapella, for they sung everything they said, and everything they said was said together, or continually with one another.

At 21, he satisfied his dreams to be a father, as the love for his early childhood still flowed within him, hoping he would be able to at least give some few children that experience too. He took orphans home and treated them like children until they were adopted by families he interviewed and observed ( with care ). This aired off a very 'pedophiliac' aura around him, for most people only saw him carrying the little children home. He was thus dubbed a pedophile, but although he was in fact not one, he gave into their false accusations, and played along with it.

From then until the present, Crest has not changed his ways a lot, other than taking on a few temporary jobs as a math teacher to earn unneccessary money that he uses to raise his fostered kids, or as a 'salary' for Thanatos and Darcy.
Living a double life of sort, and fixed with a dual personality that he hopes will one day mold into one, Crest will only tell you so much if you ask him about his past.

Coming To CDA
Crest is no different in 'reality' than he is in CDA, considering his postion and species. Dimension crossing is much like walking from one side of the door to another. However, he does not like ruining the fun, and constantly insists that he is just a normal human on 'Earth'. His charm is strung into his cross necklace.
