Description
Metronator - 1956 Nash MetropolatanCar is owned by Bryan Thatcher, and the heart of this little beast is a Blowin big block chevy engine.
The drawing is done with various colour pencils and black ball point pen. Paper is 200gsm A3 drawing paper.

Beautiful pic,the Metropolitan was probably one of the first true American sub compacts.There's a novelty song about a Nash Rambler chasing a Cadillac on the expressway. The last line in the song,where the guy in the Caddy is doing over 100mph ,the guy in the Rambler catches up to the guy in the Caddy,and,yells to him,"How do you get this thing out of second gear?!!" This metro can probably do pretty good in 2nd gear....... . Another Fave.

somebody around where I live has a nash metropolitan, it is so small, can't imagine the speed with a bbc.

Yeah !!!! I once heard of a mini with a small block V8, that would have had crazy speed - think about that speed wobble !!!!

lol you should check out the pro street vespa. The car weighs 1400 pounds and over 600 of it is the engine. 540 Big Block Chevy making 800hp, runs like 7 second quarter miles.
