This is a picture I drew a while to accompany the webcomic that I've started making recently called ELE.

Now I'm the kind of person that would prefer to show things in the comic than just lay it all out here in text, but I just want to make note of a few things.

ELE takes place in a world where people can manifest and manipulate fire, water, wind and earth. They use it for all manner of things; from combat, to energy and infrastructure. The population of the world is split into two groups; the Inlanders (cat/human hybrids) who live on the innermost continents of the world collectively known as the Inlands and the Outlanders (wolf/human hybrids) who inhabit the outermost continents of the world. Union City, although technically it's own territory, is considered the Inland capital city and unifer of the four Inland nations. However, relations between the Inlands and the Outlands are almost constantly strained due to the military stranglehold the Inland maintains over the Outlands. And this, in turn, has led to distrust between the two nations' people.

At any given time in history, four people have always exhibited a level of elemental affinity that stands out among the rest of the population. They have been called tethers and were believed to have been chosen by four beings who live beyond the mortal realm. Even in the present day, the people hold these beliefs to be true and continue to perform the rituals that bind these individuals to the four beings.

This story will follow the current four tethers; Matoko, Valen, Umi, and Sade, and all of the good and bad that happens to them due to their status.

...so yeah. I think that's enough info for the time being. The rest will be revealed through the comic itself.

Now I'm pretty sure I said this at some point in the past, but I'm no magnificent writer. For all intents and purposes this is one of my first big writing projects, so I'm gonna be learning as I go. Either way, I hope you all enjoy the story. This has been a long time coming.
