Hurting and Healing7/31/2010
It's insane,
it's so surreal.
I see it all
but I can't feel.
This horrid pain.
it is not real.
No matter; I fall
though I do not heal.
This open wound,
this gaping hole;
but I am numb:
this wound is null.
Once like the moon
but now is dull
my heart is dumb
my pain is full
Oh that I
your pain could heal,
but I'm just a life
upon this wheel.
Do not ask why
that I may kneel,
may take this strife,
might make this real.
