This is damn old and I'm surprised I didn't have it up already. It's Satan banishing one really emo demon. I think the color's a bit harsh and I'm not crazy about the inks, but I still like drawing psychedelic color swirlies.Related content

I'd have to say the extreme opposites of the two concepts mostly did it for me. Evil demons and sensitive emos don't usually go together, so I was tempted to stick them in the concept blender. What if you're supposed to be a fiery badass, but really only want to listen to Morrissey and write sad sack poetry?

Thou, at first when I saw it, I thought it was like a hug, cause it lookds more like a warm embrace, cause of how de emo demon has the heart over his head.
but now that I read the description....he's getting banished and that makes me laugh ehehehe

The swirly fire and Satan's hands work really well. Very expressive! I'm not to keen on the emo demon (though I like his heart-baloon!), but I can see why you're pleased about the piece! Cool!

Well, I like the same things you do about it... mainly the fire. The demon has a number of problems I'm unhappy with, namely about the head and hands and he's drawn stylistically much different than how I'd tackle it now (this piece is five years old). I like the idea of the balloon, but hate the square border I drew for it.

I actually like the square border you did on it. And I think it would propably look cool, if you just left it completely white? I also like the flowers breaking the panel-border. You should do a new take, it could be a great piece with a few adjustments!!!

I rarely do whole peices over, but will definitely incorporate the knowledge in the future. Plus, I'm sure I'll draw some demon guys again eventually. I find them fun to draw.
