having paint stuck in your eye will throw off the aility to color balance a little bit......

pretty funny huh.
but on a more serious note::
that's not to say that you should go around experimenting with just any paint. some paints can be injourious to the wearer. the crayola is the best for ease of removal and brighness of color. Try kidsafe colors first and then learn about paints. generally any craftstore acrylic(not latex or latex acrylic) is safe as long as it doesn't contain the colorants "lake" = arsenic or "cyanide".
