Another thing I drew many months ago but never was able to submit here because of my chaotic life lolwhoops. Sizes are not accurately to scale (didn't really think about it while drawing everything out) but eventually I'll draw something up to show their true sizes. A beautiful Digimon line! It's surprising to think there aren't any Egyptian-themed Digis within the series itself, besides Nefertimon. The ancient civilizations have much inspiration to offer, and you used it well-- I love how noble Herumon looks, and Hipsukamon with those big ears and awkward smile haha. Excellent work on these!

Thank you so much! I am pretty proud with how I’ve done this, and Egyptian styled stuff and mythology is sort of a childhood weak spot (soooo much Age of Mythology lol).
I did notice that there somehow isn’t very many Egyptian themed digimon in the show, but hopefully that’ll all change! Thanks again for the lovely comment!

Well originally I wasn’t going for a mythological theme until I drew the final form lol. I was mostly looking for names that had a meaning I wanted, but could also decently roll off the tongue. If I remember off the top of my head, Tsubasa means wing and Hipsukamon was a combination of a couple of different words put into one. Pretty much means flying horse lol, but some of the words are shortened and hashed together to make it sound better.

It’s inspired by the Egyptian god Horus, since it was a deity of the sun and is a guardian of sorts.
