Remember how in a journal last year, I mentioned I got a puppy? Well this is him now at 9 months old! Thor is still a bit crazy, but what puppy isn’t? He’s super smart (when he isn’t headstrong) and is very good with other dogs since we socialized him very often growing up. The only thing he won’t stop doing is jumping up on you to say hi, but I’ve accepted that it’s mostly a German Shepherd thing lol.Murphy would be proud of you little buddy.
This guy is also super stocky, but when he’s sits like in the picture, his skin bunches up and makes him look chunky. XD

Vocal with barking at people that walk outside (he’s getting better with “inside voice” lol) and he does whine when he’s in the crate lol. Oh, and like most shepherds he back talks when you tell him no with certain things. X’D

This breed is awesome but veeeery energetic and require lots of training in order to make them good doggos. Definitely do lots of research when you get the breed, and if it manages to fit your lifestyle, I say go for it. Lots of work but what the dog gives back is worth every minute. <3
Most GSDs don’t become the “perfect shepherd” until they’re about 2-3 years old when they finally calm down lol.

Then you’ll really love having a shepherd because they LOVE to play! Females are cuddly and more family oriented, and most males aren’t as cuddly and usually pick a favorite and most will pick a toy over food.

I can’t believe it either! He was 18.5lbs when we first got him at a little over 8 weeks old. I wish they could stay tiny for longer. I miss scooping this big boy up lol

Now Greg's trying to get him to stay down and he’s getting frustrated that Thor won’t listen lol. At least Thor is somewhat understanding that I don’t like him jumping up on me lol.
