Also, this is painted on a laptop, and I'm not entirely sure what the colours and shadows/highlights look like on regular screens. I might update with an edited version when I've had the opportunity to check. I suspect the overall picture might be too light, but I'm afraid of making the shadows too dark.

Out of all the other pictures I saw in the "critiquable" gallery this one stood out. At first glance I was sure that it was an actual photograph, which had been taken in some kind of brilliant light to make the colours appear the way they were. But then as i looked closer it dawned on me that this was actally a painting!
I was stunned by how amazingly the colours were blended and how the picture came out so beautifuly.
