Description
This is the album artwork I created for my CD, which I should be able to get printed pretty soon. The photos are all old late 19th century tintypes that I've purchased from various sources to use in this project. I scanned them with a piece of cut electrical tape over the eyes and increased the contrast and toned them in Photoshop. The backgrounds for every image originated with traditional darkroom work. I exposed each sheet though sever layers of scratched glass to get the scratched on the sheet. Then I handled the paper with fixer soaked hands and worked fixer around on the surface with a paintbrush prior to development. Developed just enough to get the scratches to show. Then I scanned the prints into Photoshop where I inverted, leveled and toned them before pasting the tintype scans on top of them.
I'm looking for any possible input before I go live with the project, most notably on the "Credits" page.

The taped eyes was a great idea. They're all great, but the cover is awesome, in my opinion. I have yet to check out the music, but the layout really sets a great mood already. Very impressive. I love dark stuff like this. +fav

this is quite impressive. i even downloaded a few songs and listened to them!
all the images are very well done, and they're a bit creepy too! they resemble some kind of mixture between nine inch nails and sparklehorses' album artwork! and so does your music.
you managed to create those sonic atmospheres that are just great for game soundtracks... i pictured myself playing to quake iii while i listened to the tracks i downloaded!
now, the only things i didn't like too much are the two lighter rectangles over which you pasted the track list and the credits... it improves the readability but i don't think they fit too well. that's just my opinion, of course.

Okay, I may have missed this, but I just have to ask...
...what's with the fascination with electric tape you have?
