Description
A Kamen Rider Den-O Rider concept; the rogue Imagin time-traveller Kaguyas. Accompanied by her five henchmen, all of whom are desperately in love with her -- the Beggar Imagin, Jeweled Imagin, Rat Imagin, Leviathan Imagin, and Swallow Imagin -- Kaguyas menaces the timestream in the form of Kamen Rider Tsuki, bringing her into conflict with the crew of the DenLiner!

Tsuki is, of course, based on the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter and its heroine, Princess Kaguya -- though unlike the humble Kaguya, who devised impossible tasks to ward off unwanted suitors, Tsuki is vain, arrogant, and self-absorbed, craving treasures and luxury above all else. That said, most of the Taros were pretty bad to start with, too... so maybe she just needs a new perspective.

Though she generally prefers to leave fighting to the simp squad, Tsuki is entirely capable in battle, wielding her MoonGasher weapon in both its sickle-like Shingetsu (new moon) and crossbow-like Mangetsu (full moon) modes. She and her henchmen travel in the MoonLiner (which she pilots via the Machine MoonLander); the front car can fold down the sides to reveal the Bamboo Cutter blades and rapid-fire Bamboo Cannons, while the rear car incorporates the Fuji Bombard, a volcano-like artillery piece.

Design-wise, Tsuki is intended to feel like a "movie Rider"; she uses a recolour the same Plat Form as Den-O/Gaoh/Yuuki/Nega/New/G, with a modified version of the Gaoh/Yuuki belt. Her DenKamen would look like a crescent moon with shadowed area before transforming into the helmet form (designed to resemble traditional Nihongami hairstyles), while her Aura Armor incorporates the five gifts that Kaguya asked for: the beggar's bowl on her chest, the jeweled branch on her forehead, the fire rat robe, the dragon's jewel on her neck, and cowrie shells on her shoulders. Otherwise, her main motifs are bamboo stalks and, of course, the moon. The MoonGasher is a retool of Zeronos's ZeroGasher, replacing the blade/crossbow part with a two-part, crescent-shaped sickle blade.

For Kaguyas herself, I wanted her to feel like she fit in with the other Imagin designed by the late Yasushi Nirasawa. The idea behind her design is that, since the Kaguya of the story was a princess from the moon, the contract-holder responsible for Kaguyas's physical form imagined her as a space alien; thus, the bulbous head, large black eyes and (bamboo-shaped) antennae. I specifically wanted to avoid giving her human lips like the Chameleon Imagin, one of the only other female Imagin, while still looking relatively feminine -- hopefully I pulled it off? Other than that, she's mostly designed to evoke a traditional Japanese noblewoman, with Kanzashi-style head decorations and loose-hanging sleeves.

Maybe I'll post more of my many Kamen Rider OCs here in future? At the very least, I need to post a few things that aren't just built off Taiko554's work!
