They view themselves as pure duelists for following the ancient rules of their forefathers and view other summoning methods as blasphemous summoning techniques.

Ritual Summoners
-uses ritual summoning as their primary summoning method
-they exclusively use ritual monsters ace their ace monsters
-their surroundings in the physical world affect their monsters. I.e. air attributes get a power boost in mountainous terrain while earth monsters gain power boosts in rocky terrain.
-pro: they can easily summon strong ritual monsters almost as soon as the duel starts.
-con: in order to use ritual monsters they must have ritual spell cards and ritual monsters in their hand to ritual summon.
-pro: they have monsters or spell cards that lets them add ritual spells or ritual monsters to their hand.
-ritual summoners’ main turf is in the rural area of the city inside a forest rumored to have supernatural properties. I once stake out on the edge of the forest and witnessed some sort of initiation ritual.
