Very cool. Reminds me of an ex-girlfriend. But in a good way. She fights in a medieval recreation group. She's got a couple weapons in her collection that look like the ones in the picture.

This is the one I was talking about...I called it Warrior...sorry. This is a great piece. Your flesh tones are wonderful, the shadows are just right. Love the garb...great job on bringing the leather to life, it almost looks like you could reach out and touch it. I love this piece!

That's superb. My only complaint would be the backgrounds, which are usually quite monotone in your works. I'd like to see some crazy fantasy landscape and dramatic lighting... I'm usually very lazy with the backgrounds too, because they take a lot time to make.

I am trying to get a bit braver with my backgrounds, my earlier works have been done with a 800mhz puter, I've only had my 1.8ghz puter set up for a few weeks now...
I find that with some subjects an uncluttered background usually works best 
Lighting has always been a bug for me... I get some really nice lights set up and my darn puter wont render, lol... so I like to KISS and adjust it from there

Pics from trip sorta delayed; back from trip O/S in 2005 and my position at basketball slashed because of referees committee (mainly female president) making many adverse comments about training of youngies etc.
Found guilty in abstentia - was in hospital having cancer cut out and therefore not performing my duties (damn I hafta agree) so my position and remuneration cut in half. 2007 O/S again and on my return I was confronted again by the frustrated old effing maid (yes I actually used those words - lil bit silly I know) with the indisputable proof that I had failed to carry out annual evaluations on two (yes 2) out of 65 referees. There was no defence that could justify this horrendeous slackness on my part (their respective mothers refused to let them come in on a week night for critiquing) so therefore derelict in my duties. Stadium manager agreed fully (don't know what I said or did to him to piss him off but what the H)
My position therefore advertised and a young 21 year referee appointed to position. Very qualified NOT - not qualified to run training courses, not qualified to carry out evaluations but a great appointment because we are implementing a youth policy (ageist????), refs committee overjoyed 'cos at last that old bastard who refuses to suck up has been shafted .... oops sorry replaced.
I am not a happy camper!!! For the sake of decency on the net I will not tell you how I really feel. More than 18 years building up a good strong core of young refs and now I've been screwed up the arse like a dead chook!
Have been considering contacting "beyond blue organisation" because that is where my mind is at, would have been so much simpler if cancer had been allowed to run its course. I know how bad that sounds but that is where my mind is at.
Lucky to sleep 1-2 hours per night, can't concentrate long enough to read even a chapter of a book (usually 250-300 pages per day), can't be stuffed to do any wood, struggle to make dinner each night. I know I need to snap out of it but shit ......... Haven't felt like actually hurting someone before but I could do it now, my mind is racing and churning and it won't stop.

I've been there too.. I still feel sick whenever I think about going back to work due to how my last employer treated me and that was over 3 years ago....
