Description Here's the tattoo I was designing to wrap around my forearm. It's FAR from done, and I was going to change a lot of it. I've since then decided my back might be a better canvas, plus, this is a LOT of black ink. Might not look so lovely when it fades.

That's a really awesome design! I like the warning sign... you should post pictures of the tattoo when it's done!

Thank you! And by the way, I laughed so hard when I read your signature, I love that song! Have you played the game?

Yep! It's a fantastic game. I <3 GLaDOS. Hard.

As small as it looked like it might be on your test photo, I'd also suggest letting the artist simplify it. If you're worried about fading, also remember edges can bleed and soften some too, that might affect the look as well. It's definitely a neat design though.

All very true. But, in my opinion, if you're going to let all of those factors affect your decision or compromise your design, then what's the point in getting the tattoo. Besides, you can always touch it up later :3

True. I guess I don't think about it though because with the ones I've gotten so far, those factors haven't mattered, but I've also been with friends who loved the artwork as is and were a little disappointed when the artist said he needed to simply and then noticed it did bleed out after it healed up. Guess I just wanted to make sure that wasn't going to be an issue.

I think bleeding edges and fading tattoos are usually the fault of the artist and the ink they use.

a lil too much detail?

I don't expect an exact replica. The continents are actually a custom shape I found for Photoshop, so I didn't draw them myself. If the tattoo artist wants to simplify it that's fine by me, just as long as it still looks good. I want as much detail as possible, but only within the realm of feasibility.
