On Homeworld, moonstones are mostly just for decoration and supposed to be like “trophy wives.” Gems who owned moonstones would often compare them and the mentality that someone’s always better than her and she’s “not good enough” stuck with her and now she hates revealing outfits and people liking her more for her appearance/body and power than her personality.
