Speed paint commission for *machine-messiah of her character, Astrae! She came out waaay too purple with the lighting effect I was playing with. D:Played around with more soft brushes for this speed paint instead of textured brushes. I like the result for scales, but I will definitely keep experimenting. c:

So pretty, and I have to agree with everyone else on your use of color, it's really vibrant and I love it! I really like what you did with the little of cloth that are attached to her bells, looks way cool

Oh, I didn't realize it was cloth! I was figuring they were light streamers of some kind. I'm glad you like my rendition in that regard, then! I'm so glad you like the image, it is ALWAYS a pleasure to draw your characters and work with you. C:

c: I really like how it turned out as well. The backlighting from the nebula looks amazing on Astrae's purple, and the scales look shiny without standing out too much! Also, the nebulous tail turned out really nicely as well. Beautiful pic beb! :>

This is just LOOOOOOVELY! I just LOVE love me that background! These soft paintish backgrounds you make just thrill me this many ffffff. all those amazing tiny stars and all that reddish purple orange goodness aaaaaamgh. Ugh I just want to see you make ALL THE BACKGROUNDS with this technique! Plus Astrae looks SO good! I love how the scales are all nice and shiny but not SUPER prominent! And that electricity is just super badass. Straight up. Love it all. <3333
