I added a little bit and finally got myself to scan it. If the eye looks off please tell me, I'd appreciate it....I still hate noses!

your method is interesting too
i tried it once but it didn't work for me so it's great to see a success! maybe i'll attempt that method again (shading as you draw rather than drawing all first then shading)

Thanks! No, it's not finished yet. I kind of ruined a small part of the paper and so I'm now uninterested in finishing it... I added a little more and I might go back to it but... that'll probably take a while...
I'm not the greatest with portraits(particularly keeping them in proportion) but I've been wanting to try my hand at them and so I just went for it. I think I'll be trying different "styles" as I go
