all stock is my own, except the bugs are from SXC.
this started as an accident, was playing with a picture
of myself, YES THATS ME.. AGAIN *groan*, and
decided to go with it..
thats it.

The colors are shockingly bright and reminescent to me of Brave New World or 1984; they seem futuristic, and the need to blend in (for all talents evolve out of necessity) could also work well with that theme. It reminds me of that sort of primitive earthiness strictly at odds with a synthetic and controlled world. At the same time, you could just as easily by the huntress here, watching your prey from the shadows. Your eyes look indifferent to whatever they're beholding, though it may very well be gore and horror. I am inclined to think it's the first though; you may begin to be desensitized, but the instinct for self-preservation (the most likely reason to want to hide) reveals that you have not yet given up, no matter how hopeless the fight.
It could also be that you just feel like nothing, like an invisible person in a world of blindingly vivid blooms. The only way to feel simultaneously more and less is to take some of the glory of the flowers and make yourself nearly one of them.
You're really beautiful. I don't think you have anything to be ashamed of when it comes to your physical appearance.

ahh youre remarkable my dear! thats what i must say first off.. we have some sort of deep soul similarites that leave us sliding around ont he same planes of thought and insight.. its quite a fun experience.. well for me atleast! hehe
i tihnk your all of your thoughts blend into thise.. theres a bit of eerything you said wrapped up in here.. the need to feel invisible, yet keeping sharp eyes on whatever passes by. being desensitized, having seen to much.. a need to escape and be one with something natural and primal.. old and earthy.. simplicity and beauty thats uncompromisable.. and undebatable.
i tend to have so many mixed emotions and feelings, its hard to really pinpoint one or two things, so your explenations leave me gasping almost, but comforted knowing its understood.. its sucks not being understood. :\ i gues at times we can all feel like nothing. seeing beauty and majesty around us and then glance at our reflections and think.. " hmm well, im nothing special". so i can adgree with your last statement that shreds of me absolutly have felt that way at one time or another..
mostly i have this deep connection with nature, and earth.. theres such beauty and life, and unexplained power and connections that if we could just get away from everything man has done to this life, and this earth, we could be more at ease, more simplified.. more beautiful.. more eyes would see things for what they really are.. society and this world sickens me.. it makes me feel toxic in ways.. and i always imagine myself amongst nature, becoming part of it, and being one with it.. for some reason its a huge deep release for me..

I know what you mean. I used to dream I would run away to a prairie or an open field, someplace untouched and pure. I would wear white and braid my hair and not wear shoes, and reach some elemental and clean part of me. That's an image that pops up quite frequently in my writing. It symbolizes happiness to me on so many levels, but the more I see of the world the less inclined I am to think it will come true. There doesn't seem to be any place to run anymore. Everything is radioactive and cancerous.

ahh ok.. umm well i do things quitte ghetto.. i dont know what i could really tell you except experiment, try everything and anything.. you never what can come out of it.. just becasue its not the "normal" way to do something doesnt mean its wrong, or wont look good.. and practice.. doing things over and over.. and OVER.. lol im really not a very good teacher, i have no patience for the most part and the stuff i do normally changes from each picture i do... i taught myself how to use PS, and so most of how i do things, isnt the "normal" way.. best ic an tell ya, im sorry..

not sure what you mean exactly.. was part of a flower stock photo i took.. i cut it out, cloned on some parts that needed it, of course of dodges and burn, color adjustments, shadows..etc did you mean something else?

I feel so indequate... ^.^ Yes, as everyone else has said, you are the most exquisitely beautiful creature I can think of right now. In that picture - I'd say very very very very beautiful. I think I like the manip with the snake better (forgot the title) but that's because green is my favorite color, and the shades of green inerlacing with your skin is gorgeous. This one might pale in comparison also because the bluish tones seem slightly more unnatural, and on an instinctive level make me uneasy, but the tone is so reminiscent of a shadow and blending in with your environment that it is more than excusable, and brings the piece as a whole into one cohesive unit.
